Sleeve
Densely woven Silica Sleeve is ideal for protection of delicate components and personnel from exposure to high temperature exhausts and pipes. Silica Sleeve is braided into a strong and flexible sleeve from silica yarns. The thick 60 mil walls of this sleeving provide enhanced thermal protection up to 1,800°F. Braided 96% pure silica fiber, the health conscious alternative to asbestos and ceramic sleeves and wraps.
KAF offers fiberglass, basalt fiber, silica raw sleeve braiding to meet the different situation. When necessary, Silicone coated finish is applied to sleeve.
Loomstate fiberglass sleeve(Aluminium foil available):
- Inner Diameter: 10mm up to 150mm
- Wall thickness: 2.5mm up to 3mm
Silica sleeve:
- Inner Diameter: 3mm up to 120mm
- Wall thickness: 0.7mm up to 1.6mm
Product should be stored in accordance with the international standards DIN 7716 and ISO 2230.
A brief outline of the recommendations are as follows;
A dry, stable, elevated stores location with good air circulation away from direct sunlight, dust, chemicals and humidity should not exceed 65%.

Silicone coated fiberglass sleeve is made by fiberglass sleeve coated with silicone rubber. It is a high performance sleeve for high temperature,weatherproofing cable or pipe protection.

This product cuts easily with scissors or shears and expands to allow easy installation over water cooling hoses, hydraulic hoses, and electrical cables. Also provides great insulation for exhaust systems.
